There was a good disturbance in the Force. It has been announced that there will be a “Star Wars 3D” run in movie theaters. Each one of the films is having the 3-d treatment. The very first is slated for a 2012 release. The story determines the order. The original launch will be of “Episode 1,” the very first prequel. Following the prequels will come the original trilogy.
‘Star Wars’ 3-D finally achievable
Three dimensional film illusions are what Hollywood is most known for at present. The biggest hits in the last few years are “Avatar” and “Clash of the Titans.” These were both released in two dimensions and three dimensions. The technology has come out to help make “Star Wars” 3-dimensional with George Lucas and Industrial Light and Magic. The job will not be rushed. The Telegraph reports Lucas film saying this. Each and every detail within the series can be turned 3-dimensional. This is going to improve the overall quality of all of the films.
First one being released in 2012
”Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” can be the first “Star Wars 3-D” movie to be launched. The series can be released in the chronological order of the story. There is no exact release date set yet. 2012 is the year the business is heading for. It is just a goal though. According to The Hollywood Reporter, George Lucas had not been certain yet of the merits of current 3-dimensional technology. After he saw “Avatar,” he decided to make the change. The length between releases hasn’t been determined. Nobody has said anything about it.
Helping to make theaters all have the functions
Theaters have to get up to date. Too the majority are still lagging with only 2-D projections. Each and every year, about 500 are added to be 3-d capable. This technology is blossoming into its adolescence as more films are released in 3-D. There is not any update on whether “Indiana Jones” or “Clone Wars” series will become 3-dimensional anytime soon.
